Brewery Sales Rep
Duties & Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain working relationships with distributor partners.
-Communicate and implement RLA policies, procedures, and objectives with distributor partners.
-Make regularly planned market visits with distributing partners.
-Establish regular contact and build relationships with decision makers at accounts, both on and off premise in order to maintain and increase sales and distribution..
-Create, organize, and attend events such as Brewfests, Beer Dinners, Employee Tastings and Education, Pint Nights, and a myriad of other events.
-Ability and willingness to maintain a very flexible schedule with frequent long days, frequent working weekends, and being on call.
-Ability to self manage, maintain a long term calendar of events, planned distributor visits, and sales meetings and prioritizing time in an efficient manner.
-Ability to pour beer, and troubleshoot and fix beer and beer equipment issues.
-Make weekly meetings with Brew Master to organize and create distributor orders, invoices, pick sheets, pallet slips, and work with shipping companies to create Bills of Lading and organize shipping of beer and return shipping of empty kegs.
-A passion for MT craft beer,with knowledge of beer, beer styles, brewing process, and the ability to properly pour and serve beer.
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
-3+ years sales experience (industry related and/or a beer distributor background strongly preferred).
-Must be 21 years of age or older.
-Must possess valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
-Knowledge of the three-tier system, beer distribution, and MT law.
-Excellent communication skills, with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Quickbooks, Google Drive, Facebook and other social media accounts.
-Must be able to lift 30lb. cases, 55lb kegs, and handle 165lb kegs.
-Independent, Self reliant, Responsible, Outgoing, Engaging, with a near limitless amount of infectious energy and the ability to make quick decisions without oversight to get the job done.

A great sense of humor, a willingness to speak in front of large crowds and hold their attention, and a sincere love of our beer are key to performing well in this position. This is a full time commission position with Health, Vacation, Simple IRA, and other benefits. Applicant must live in Central/Western Montana.
